Rainbow challenges

The girls were very pleased to show me that they had ordered the rabbit numbers up to 50. We talked together about how we can use this to find one more/one less and also ten more and ten less.

There was also a lot of fun outside today with the cars and guttering. The children used the chalk to see whose car went the furthest.

They are also still very much enjoying our Fire Station role play area!

Time travelling back to 1666!

We put on our virtual reality helmets and ventured back to 1666. We imagined how the people must have felt and worked together to try and put out the fire. We used axes to make fire breaks and also worked collaboratively to try and find a way to reach safety.

Rainbow challenges

The children have been really enjoying our independent playful learning rainbow challenges. I have seen some wonderful 'Fire' role play which I am sure will develop further as we learn more about The Great Fire of London next week.

Here are a few pictures....

Wizzy goes to London!

Welcome to the Rabbits blog for 2019-20

As part of our new topic London's Burning we started finding out about London today. Mrs Lewis and Wizzy (our phonics wizard) took a trip to London on Wednesday. The children were very keen to see the pictures and watch the video clips. We have also been comparing how London today is very different to London in the past.

Wizzy had a very busy, tiring day exploring, and had lots to tell us when he returned to our class.
