Knights Armour

Today we had a special treat. Mrs Neve brought in some knights armour for us to look at. 
We tried it on to see how heavy it is and tried to imagine what it must have been like to be a real Knight. 

Shrove Tuesday

Yesterday we learnt about the meaning of Shrove Tuesday and Ash Wednesday. We talked about things we might be able to 'give up' for Lent. 

Then, of course, we had to make pancakes. Delicious!

Plants

This week we have started our new Science topic of Plants. We are going to find out what a plant needs to grow, so we have planted beans. 

Dance Festival

On Monday we had a great trip to the High School for our Dance Festival. We all loved learning a new dance and working towards a big finale performance at the end of the afternoon on the stage. Well done everyone. 

 

We then all settled down for a nice bedtime story at the end of the day! Thank you to those who could come along to this. 

Letters to Father Christmas

This week we wrote a letter to Father Christmas. We had to think about how it would get to him. We decided on writing his address and adding a stamp. 

We then went to the post box with Hedgehogs class and posted our letters. Let's hope we get a letter in return!
